Amy Paul Hood

Mrs. Amy Paul Hood, 54, of Swainsboro passed away Sunday morning, November 5, 2017 at Emanuel Medical Center following a brief illness.

            Mrs. Hood was born July 27, 1963 in Sunberry Pennsylvania to the late Richard Paul and Pauline Louge Paul. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Hood moved to Swainsboro at age 5, grew up here and married, raised two kids. She was a licensed L.P.N. and a licensed Barber. Mrs. Hood enjoyed reading, love being a witness to other people, and was very protective to those she loved. She was a member of Swainsboro Kingdom Hall-Jehovah’s Witness.

            Survivors include her husband, Tim Hood of Swainsboro; daughters, Jennifer Hutcheson Corbin (Randall) of Atlanta, Janessa Hood Arellanes (Abdi) of Swainsboro; brothers, Richard Alfred Paul (Melissa) of Birmingham, AL., Thomas Edward Paul (Regina) of Garfield; sisters, Cheryl Darlene Paul of Dallas, TX., and Rachel Paul Thompson (Timothy) of Gray, Ga.; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

            Memorial service will be held at the Swainsboro Kingdom Hall-Jehovah’s Witness at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 with Elder Scott Weigl officiating.

            The Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Swainsboro Kingdom Hall-Jehovah’s Witness.
