Mrs. Annie Clyde Moore, 68, of Summertown passed away Thursday afternoon, March 30, 2017, at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Moore was born August 16, 1948 in White Oak, Ga. to the late Wiley Daniels, Sr. and Ollie Beckham Daniels. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ellen Chavis, and Mary Esther Daniels. Mrs. Moore lived most her life between Emanuel and Burke Counties. She was the go to person in the family, she loved being outdoors, and fishing. Mrs. Moore was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her husband, Hermon Moore of Summertown; Sons, Alan (Julie) Moore of Summertown, and Marc (Tonya) Moore of Midville; brothers, Wiley (Patty) Daniels, Jr. of Woodbine, C.L. (Karen) Daniels of Woodbine, Joe (Debbie) Daniels of Waynesville, and Russell Daniels of Waynesville; sisters, Freddie Clemons of Black Mountain, N.C. and Alice (Charles) Anderson of Midville; grandchildren, Brandi (Jordan) Johnson, Ty Moore, and Laci Moore all of Midville; great-granddaughter, Paisley Johnson; special nephew, Jess Anderson of Twin City; several nieces, nephews, and friends
Funeral services will be held at Hines Baptist Church at 3p.m. Saturday afternoon, April 1, 2017 with Rev. Billy Brinson officiating. Mrs. Moore will lie in state one hour prior to service.
Interment will follow in the Hines Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7p.m. Friday afternoon, March 31, 2017 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Nicky Drake, Luke McKenzie, Henry Moore, Kevin Strange, Keith Radford, and Chris Radford.
Honorary Pallbearer are Manuel Hernandez, Jr.
