Ms. Arlene Gail Collins,57, of Swainsboro passed away Friday morning, January 26, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness.
Ms. Collins was born November 21, 1960 in Munich, Germany to the late William Franklin Collins and Lillie Marie Jones Collins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Ms. Collins moved from Germany to Swainsboro at the age of 3 and have resided in Swainsboro, Emanuel County ever since. She had a great personality, very caring and giving. Ms. Collins loved racing, fishing, and especially loved her family. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her brother, Timothy Collins (Jewel) of Swainsboro; sister, Mary Hurst (Sonny) of Canoochee; niece, nephew, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be at Union Primitive Baptist Church 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2018 with Elder Sam Bowen officiating.
Interment will follow in the Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Union Primitive Baptist Church.
Pallbearers are Donald Jones, Raymond Wiley, Chris Phillips, Wesley Triplett, and Kerry Phillips.
