Danielle (Dixon) Flanders

Mrs. Danielle Dixon Flanders, 21, of Swainsboro passed away Friday night, December 1, 2017 at Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.

            Ms. Flanders was born June 11, 1996 in Tifton, Ga. to Bronzal Dixon, Jr. and Dana Griffin Flanders. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Bronzal Dixon, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Mary Carelock; uncle, David Goff; special aunt, Lisa Flanders; special grandfather, Harvey Flanders. Danielle was a friend to all and never meet a stranger. She loved telling people about her Lord and Savior, loved writing songs, giving her testament to people in music, and loved birds. Danielle was the strongest and most kindness person, she loved her family, her parents, her bonus parents, she was her mother’s best friend, she especially loved her husband, and son. Danielle had three wishes after being diagnosed with cancer, one, to go to Disney World with family and see her son eyes light up, two, get married so she wouldn’t be in sin, and three, spend a week with her Dad at the beach. These wishes where granted by the grace of God.  

            Survivors include her mother, Dana Flanders (Lamar) of Twin City; father, Bronzal Dixon, Jr. (Rhonda) of Tifton; husband, Colton Flanders of Summertown; son, Kayson Jase Dixon of Summertown; maternal grandparents, Tommy & Betty Griffin of Tifton; special grandmother, Mary Grimes of Twin City; paternal grandmother, Sylvia Dixon of Tifton; brother, Andrew Levy Dixon of Twin City; step-brothers, Matthew Yawn of Mixon, N.Y., and Jacob Yawn of Tifton; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

            Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 with Reverends Dewayne Franks, Ricky Downs, and Bishop Joe Crew officiating.

           Interment will follow in the Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum.

           The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2017 at Chapman Funeral Home.

           Pallbearers are Matthew Yawn, Jacob Yawn, Josh Anderson, Linc Griffin, Dusty Griffin, Hunter Scarborough, and Reed Bennett.

           Honorary Pallbearer are Drew Dixon.
