Donald Jones

            Mr. Donald Jones, 64, of Midville passed away Monday night, January 8, 2018 at Community Hospice in Vidalia following and extended illness.

            Mr. Jones was born April 11, 1953 in Midville to the late Gordon C. Jones and Louise Tidwell Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald Jones. Mr. Jones loved gardening, fishing, watching nascar, and especially loved his family.

            Survivors include his daughter, Cynthia Jones Hooks of Swainsboro; sisters, JoAnne Jones of Swainsboro, and Betty Wilkerson of Twin City; grandchildren, Ashley Jones, Greg Kirby, Jacob Fields, and Gracie Hooks; nephews, Tim Wilkerson, and Shannon Wilkerson; nieces, Lynn Wilkerson, Mandi Wilkerson, Brandi Wilkerson, and Melanie Wilkerson; special friend, Jean Amerson.

            Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 with Reverend Elder Tommy Rountree officiating.

           Interment will follow in the Sim-Warren Cemetery.

           The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.

           Pallbearers are Tim Wilkerson, Ricky Akridge, James Akridge, Shannon Wilkerson, Jamie Jones, and Matt Jones.
