Doris Proctor "Mema" Randall

Mrs. Doris Proctor “Mema” Randall, 84, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 11, 2017 at Pruitt Health Swainsboro after an extended illness.

            Mrs. Randall was born March 9, 1933 in Aiken, S.C. to the late Noah Felton Proctor and Mary Lou Webb Proctor. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tunney Randall; sister, Yavonne McKuhen; grandchildren, Lisa Randall, and Louis Randall. Mrs. Randall moved to Emanuel County in 1990. She liked to crochet, listen to Gospel Music, and Arts & Crafts. Mrs. Randall loved going to church, reading her Bible, and taking care of other people. She was a member of Stillmore Missionary Baptist Church.

            Survivors include her son, Tony Randall of Twin City; daughter, Judy Edenfield of Twin City; sister, Carolyne Lane of Prosperity, S.C.; grandchildren, Donna Rachels (Roy), Jody Scarboro, and David Randall; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

            Funeral Services will be held at Stillmore Missionary Baptist Church 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017 with Reverend Roger Holley officiating.

            Graveside services will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cartersville, Ga. 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2017 with Reverend Charles Moore officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4 pm. to 6 pm. Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Stillmore Missionary Baptist Church.
