Mrs. Jennifer Sue Strange, 45, of Summertown passed away Friday afternoon, March 2, 2018 at Community Hospice in Vidalia following an extended illness.
Mrs. Strange was born January 31, 1973 in Titusville, Florida to James Ronald Hurston and Marcie Perry Dean. She was preceded in death by her father. At the age of 16, Mrs. Strange moved to Georgia to live with her grandparents. Mrs. Strange was employed with Swainsboro Health Care as a medical assistant and office manager, where she took pride in taking care of patients and their needs. She was a very strong woman having battled cancer for over two and a half years. Mrs. Strange loved her grandchildren, fishing, gardening, and watching hummingbirds. She always looked forward to Christmas decorating with her family she loved dearly. Mrs. Strange was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her mother, Marcie Dean of Summertown; husband, Kevin Strange of Summertown; sons, Justin Price and Bradley Oglesby both of Summertown; daughter, Kirby Radford of Summertown; sisters, Doris Runyon (Scott) of Cocoa, FL., and Angie Taylor of Tallahassee, FL.; grandchildren, Autumn Hernandez, Bentley Hernandez, and Aubree Radford; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018 with Reverend Morris Brantley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Nicky Drake, Jordan Radford, Trey Radford, Benji Bell, Adam Oglesby, and Daniel Rodgers.
