Mr. Robert Wayne Curl, 51, of Swainsboro passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017, in Rincon GA.

Mr. Curl was born in Swainsboro, GA, to the late Talmadge Curl and Rena Elizabeth Bowden Curl. He graduated from Swainsboro High School in 1985. Mr. Curl received a scholarship to play football with the Georgia Southern Eagles.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being out in nature.  Mr. Curl was a self-employed carpenter building houses.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his son, Talmadge James Curl of Dublin; sister, Shirley Braddy (Wallace) of Soperton; brother, Charles Allen Curl (Christy) of Atlanta, IL; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 3p.m. Sunday afternoon, April 9, 2017 with Elder Tommy Rountree.

Interment will follow in the Swainsboro City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8p.m. Saturday afternoon, April 8, 2017 at Chapman Funeral Home.

Shirley and Family, so very sorry for your loss. Prayers and thoughts with all of you in the days and weeks to come. In looking at his photo, he certainly looked like the Bowden side of the family...I know that thrilled Miss Elizabeth. Hugs to you.
