Miranda Brooke Williamson

Miranda Brooke Williamson, 18, of Oak Park passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Brooke was born March 19, 2005, to Billy Williamson and Kimberly Kay Rogers Williamson.  She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Thomas Rogers; paternal grandfathers, Alvin Williamson, Sr. and Norman Miller. 

Brooke was a senior at Swainsboro High and would have graduated with the class of 2024!  She was a member of Oak Park Church of God where she served doing many outreaches along beside her church family.  She also sang on the Praise Team.  To know Brooke was to Love her. Her personality was hers alone.  She loved art and fishing with her brothers. 

Brooke also worked at Stockyard in Swainsboro where she was a server. She had many regulars who came in and requested her for their table.  Brooke will be remembered for her strong will and fierce soul.  She was the baby of her parents’ children.

Brooke is survived by her parents, Billy and Kim Williamson of Oak Park; brothers, Blake Walker, Thomas Williamson (Topanga Berry); sister, Madison Williamson (Dillon Miller); niece, Isabella Miller all of Oak Park; maternal grandmother, Katie Rogers of Soperton; paternal grandmother, Patsy Miller of Soperton; special friends, Makenzie Kilgore, Lindsey Mills, Samantha Coleman, Alyssa Greene, and Dawson Harvey, the love of her life; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. 

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Oak Park Church of God with Pastor Aaron Moncrief officiating. 

Interment will follow in Oak Park City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Powell, Terry Powell, Thomas Williamson, Blake Walker, Alvin Williamson, Jr., and Neal Rogers.
