Mrs. Carolyn Jeanette Sego Morris, 75, of Swainsboro passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Serenity Place following an extended illness.
Mrs. Morris was born February 27, 1943 in Graymont, Georgia to the late Peter Sego and Gladys Youngblood Sego. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 52 years, James W. Morris, Sr.; brothers, Irving Sego and Robert Sego. Mrs. Morris cherished her time as a homemaker, daycare teacher, Walmart employee and military spouse. Her time as a military spouse took her to Virginia, Florida, California and Texas before finally settling in Swainsboro.
Survivors include her son, James “Jim” W. Morris. Jr. of Milledgeville, GA.; daughters, Tarita Bacon of Chesapeake, VA and Michelle R. Reed of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Margaret Bienas of Oak Lawn, IL.; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum Chapel 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018.
Entombment will follow at Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends 1-hour prior to service at Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum Chapel.
