Mr. Che Charles Craig, 42, of Rockledge passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 at Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta after losing his battle with liver and kidney disease.
Mr. Craig was born June 30, 1976 in Heidelberg, Germany to Micheal Charles Craig and Kathie Anderson. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Russ Anderson; paternal grandparents, William Craig and Betty Craig; daughter, Sarah Craig. Mr. Craig spent over half his life proudly serving in the U.S. Army. He left a lasting impression on every single Soldier he encountered and was always the advocate for the underdog. Mr. Craig was also a devoted husband and loving father to his two stepdaughters. He will be missed by his family, friends, and brothers in arms.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Craig of Rockledge; mother, Kathie Anderson of Endicott, Washington; father, Michael Craig of Texas; step-daughters, Courtney Bush of Rockledge and Jamie Bush of Dublin; sister, Coralea Mirabella of Texas; Marissa Montalvo of Virginia Beach, VA and Alexis Montalvo of Wichita Falls, TX; maternal grandmother, Joan Anderson of Spokane, WA; several nieces, nephew and many friends.
Memorial Service will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 7 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Che’s honor to a Veteran’s organization of their choice.
