Mr. Colon Eugene Cox, 69, of Adrian passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Jefferson County Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Cox was born February 3, 1949 to the late John Raymond Cox and Eddie Henry Cox. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Andrew Sam. Mr. Cox enjoyed trifling and dabbling with old stuff. He was proud of an old can tab collection he had. Mr. Cox loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughters, Melinda Cox Ramirez of Wrightsville, and Selena Scott of Grey; grandchildren, Jeese Sam, Naomi Whitworth, Alicia Plata, Angelica Ramirez, and Max Ramirez, Jr.; brother, Wiley Cox of Adrian; sisters, Mary Peebles, JoAnne Walker, and Bonnie Faye Hutcheson all of Swainsboro, and Margie Lumpkin of Adrian; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2018 with Reverends Gary Green and Allen Green officiating.
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Timmy Cox, Tony Cox, Max Ramirez, Jr., Adam Morris, Lee Coxwell, and Anthony Green.
