Edna Leona Bragg

            Ms. Edna Leona Bragg, 61, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday afternoon, March 10, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital in Augusta following an extended illness.

Ms. Bragg was born January 21, 1957 in Louisville, Ga. to the late Harrison T. Story, Sr. and Ethel Story. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Doyle Story, Thomas Story, and Ronnie Story; sisters, Dolly Fountain, and Janice Davis. Ms. Bragg lived most of her life in Louisville until 1993 when she moved to Swainsboro. She enjoyed reading the Bible, talking on the phone, and sitting on the porch. Ms. Bragg loved everybody she was a great Mom and a very forgiving person. She was a member of Josey Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Samantha Bradford of Swainsboro; companion, Mose Bradford of Swainsboro; brothers, Harrison Story, Jr. of Millen, and Wayne Story of Bartow; sisters, Virginia Utley of Waynesboro, Barbara Cowart of Davisboro, Linda Poole of Louisville, and Patricia Hadden of Wadley; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018 with Reverend George Lee officiating.

Interment will follow in the Josey Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Bradley White, Michael Utley, James Hall, Jr., Steven Story.
