Mrs. Elizabeth W. Collins,89, of Swainsboro passed away Sunday morning, February 18, 2018 at Emanuel County Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Collins was born June 14, 1928 in Stillmore, Ga. to the late Joel K. Waddell and Julia Durden Waddell. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.B. Collins; brother, William Joel Waddell. Mrs. Collins worked for years at Swainsboro Sports Wear and then working for Walmart in the fabric department. She enjoyed making quits, reading, and gardening.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Alice Hall of Swainsboro; grandsons, Jerry Hall (Angie) of Martinez, and Joey Hall (Jamie) of Swainsboro; great-grandsons, Tyler Hall of Metter, Sam Rodgers, and Jordan Rodgers both of Martinez; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 with Elder Kurt Bacon officiating.
Interment will follow in the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.
