Uncle Flem and Aunt Ann were two of God's special people.Always so loving and kind.Never a negative word about another person. We all should try and make our lives like theirs. So glad that they are joined again in Heaven.

Uncle Flem was a gentle man and a true gentleman. We loved his stories, his kindness and his soft spoken, positive outlook on life. We were so fortunate to have Uncle Flem in our lives. Sending the family love - Robin

Flem and I worked together at Mass Mutual. He was such a great person, a great American. I saw him a little more than 2 months ago and he seemed to be doing better. I will certainly miss our visits together!! I have to believe he is having a great conversation with Jesus right about now!!

Claire your dad was truly one of the friendliest men I've ever had the pleasure to meet.
He had the most faith of anyone I know. If he ever missed Mass or Bible study you knew he was really sick. I had the pleasure of sitting right behind him in Mass so I got to exchange the offering of "peace" by shaking his hand every Sunday. He also attended Mass on Wedsdays when afterwards we would all go to lunch together. Flem truly set an example of a life well lived. I know you and your siblings are very proud of the man he was. He will be definitely missed and remembered.
My sincere condolence.

Ann, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your wonderful family. I have many wonderful memories that go back to the 1940's and 50's visiting Flem And Margaret in Savannah. I always could listen to her beautiful accent for hours. I also remember a wonderful visit with Junior in Metter during my time representing The Travelers.

It was with sadness that I read of Flem's passing. I never met a man who had more faith than Flem. He and Ann were such a loving couple. They were part of our group who met annually with Bishop Andrew McDonald and Elon was so kind to drive him to Savannah for our reunions when Flem was not able. He is now with his beloved Ann and has left behind a family they can be so proud of. Go in peace, Flem, and pray for us who loved you and will always remember you.
