Florence Kent Moore

Mrs. Florence Kent Moore, 74, of Swainsboro, GA. passed away April 16, 2019 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro following an extended illness.

Mrs. Moore was born October 19, 1944 in Millen to the late Arthur Kent and Opal Smith Kent.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lathy Morris and brother, Roger Kent.  Mrs. Moore enjoyed fishing, camping, going to restaurants to eat buffet style and spending time with her family.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Swainsboro.

Survivors include her husband, George Moore, Jr. of Swainsboro; brother, Buck Kent (Vera) of Augusta; and sister, Alice Grissom of Augusta.

Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 11 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2019 with Elder Tommy Rountree and Reverend Casey Shaw officiating.

 Interment will be at Kent Crump Cemetery.

 The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Joseph Fullmore, Larry Wilkerson, Jimmy Copeland III, Ronnie Wilkerson and Justin Wilkerson.
