Mrs. Hazel Riner Rickerson, 63, of Swainsboro passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at Serenity Place in Dublin, GA following an extended illness.
Mrs. Rickerson was born May 14, 1955 in Swainsboro, Georgia to the late Henry Clint Riner and Claudie Averett Riner. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Riner; sisters, Barbara Gilbert and Mary Tant. Mrs. Rickerson loved the outdoors, singing, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Rickerson of Swainsboro; daughter, Natasha Hazel Jones of Dublin; brothers, Hershel Riner and Robert Riner, both of Swainsboro; sisters, Laura Mason of Swainsboro and Inez Conley (John) of Fayetteville; 1 granddaughter, Jada Jones of Dublin; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 3:00 pm Wednesday, January 2, 2019 with Rev Joe Bedgood and Rev Arthur Conley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 pm Wednesday, January 2, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are B.J. Conley, Derrick Williams, Steve Williams, and Bobby Williams, Jr.
