Ms. Catherine, Mark, Greg, Cindy and Connie,
I am SOO VERY SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF UR SON AND BROTHER. I am in such shock that this has happened, and I'm very sad. I cannot imagine UR pain, I'm so very sorry. I also moved to Midway last year, it was a happy moment to find out that James lived right across the street from me, because I didn't know anyone there, but James! It was sooo good to see him after almost 10 years, he was in a much better place in his life than he was back then. We got a chance to catch up, and he told me that he moved to Midway for a fresh start, and was so happy and doing so good. He was a totally different person, and so very proud of his place, He told me of all the plans he had for his home and land. His prized possession was the deed to his property, and the fact that he bought it with his own paycheck, he was one very proud man, I was very happy to see all that he had accomplished. I seen him everyday, riding the dirt roads in his golf cart and waving at everyone never missing a chance to stop & talk to his neighbors around Woodland Estates. James had ALOT of friends in the community, and he LOOKED FORWARD to y'all coming and visiting. He would tell me THT Connie would be coming, and what he wanted to cook, or do, while she was here. He was so different, He was for once, calm and at peace with himself. It was great to get to know him again, and the Man he had become. Just know, he talked about ALL OF YOU, ALL OF THE TIME, HE LOVED HIS FAMILY. One thing is for sure, we all have our memories of James, however crazy, and wild they were they are unique and they are own, he made sure of that. God broke that mold when he came into the world. There won't be another one like him, for so many reasons. He was so good with my children when they were little, and they remember playing in the snow at Ms. Catherine's house in Nunez, one of the few times it snowed up there. He was a good hearted person. His heart was bigger than he was sometimes.
My prayers are with you ALL, IM SO SO SORRY, PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THERES ANYTHING WE CAN DO FOR ANY OF YALL. WE LIVE IN SAVANNAH NOW.

RESPECTFULLY with LOVE,
TIFFANY OGDEN
