Jason Stevens passed away on May 9th, 2019 at the age of 37.  He was born in Swainsboro, GA on April 8th, 1982, and graduated from Windsor Forest High School in Savannah in 2001.  He was the oldest of three siblings, and he is survived by his parents, Michael and Pamella Stevens; his brother, Eric Stevens and his wife Heather Banks Stevens; his sister, Carly Stevens Thompson and her husband Tommy Thompson, and their children, Talmadge, Hunter and Christopher Driggers; also his grandmother, Lenore H. Carter, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Jason was preceded in his death by his uncle Royce Stevens in 2011, whom he was close to.

Jason lived in Midville, GA, next to his parents’ family farm.  He was baptized at Savannah Progressive Primitive Baptist Church and was a member of Bethesda Primitive Baptist church in Wadley, GA, where he attended as a child with his mother, brother and sister, and their grandmother Reba Stevens.  He loved music and playing the guitar. He was in a few different bands with his friends, and always enjoyed getting together with them, and hanging out and playing music. His friends describe him as a kind-hearted soul.
