Mrs. Jessie Jewel Holland, 86, of Twin City passed away Friday, July 26, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Holland was born February 26, 1933 in Metter to the late Roscoe Boykins and Lindy Parrish Boykins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Holland. Mrs. Holland loved coca cola, pizza, watching old classic movies and listening to music. She was a member of Roundtree Chapel Baptist Church in Twin City.
Survivors include her son, Billy (Alberta) Holland of Florida; daughters, Linda (Charles) Jones of Swainsboro, Sarah (Charles) Faison of Twin City; sisters, Lilliam Mincey and Ada Belle Boykins both of Metter; grandchildren, Phillip, Stanya, Chuck, Areka, Chaundra, Mario, Bryann, Brandy, Angel, Alondra, Lamont; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 3, 2019 11:00 AM at Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Hackett officiating.
Interment will follow in Parrish Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Lamont Montgomery, Truman Boykin, Chuck Jones, and Mario Holland.
