Johnny Ray Kimball, age 63, of Twin City, Georgia, passed away on January 8, 2018, after a long, hard fight with cancer.

 

Born on September 8, 1954, to Ouida Hutto Kimball and Robert Kimball, Sr, he was the youngest of their four children.

 

As a lifetime resident of Twin City, he was an honor graduate of Emanuel County Institute and received an Associate of Arts degree from Emanuel County Junior College. He went on to become a third-generation farmer in Emanuel County. He will be remembered for having a special affection for animals, as being an avid fan

of the ECI Bulldogs and the UGA Bulldogs.

 

He was preceded in death by his momma and daddy and is survived by his brothers, Robert Kimball, Jr., of Twin City, Lewis (Libby) Kimball of Brooklet, his sister, June (Marshall) Howell, of Stockbridge and three generations of nieces and nephews, as well as several cousins and many friends.

 

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 2:30 p.m. until the funeral service at 3:30 p.m. at Hebron Primitive Baptist Church in Garfield, Georgia. Elders Sam Bowen and Tommy Rountree officiating. Johnny will be buried beside his parents in the church cemetery.

 

 Pallbearers are Reid Parks, Ross Kelly, Cameron Kelly, Joseph Sutherland, Keith Kimball, Rick Kimball, Norman Ott, and Terry Ott.
