Myrna Ruth (Coursey) Warf

Myrna Ruth Coursey Warf, 62, of Swainsboro, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, surrounded by those she loved.

Born July 30, 1957 in Savannah, Georgia, she was the youngest child of the late Robert Perry Coursey and Minnie Ruth Boyles Coursey of Guyton, Georgia.

She was married to the late Nicholas Henry Warf Jr in 1977 and enjoyed 38 years of loving matrimony before becoming a widow.

Myrna is survived by her four children:  daughter, Andilea Warf, and son, Robert Warf, both of Swainsboro, Ga; son Rusty and Ashley Warf of Vidalia, Ga; daughter Heather Warf Rosas and Jeffrey Nist of Swainsboro, Ga; as well as six grandchildren:  Dalton Warf, Rusty Warf Jr (RJ), Abigail Warf, Melina Rosas, Nicholas Rosas, and Daniel A Rosas (Danybug).  She also had two step-grandchildren: Gabriel Nist and Annabeth Nist of Virginia Beach, Virginia.  She is also survived by: sister Esther Fort of Guyton, Ga; sister Joyce C. Fort of Guyton, Ga; brother John Coursey of Guyton, Ga; nephew Kelly Fort of Springfield, Ga; nephew Ryan Urbin of Jacksonville, FL; and cousins Jenny Wilkins and Joshua Wilkins of Manchester, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by: her beloved husband Nicholas, brother Robert (Bobby) Coursey, sister Mary Coursey Thompson, and sister Melinda Coursey Floyd.

Myrna was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind many beautiful memories.

Everyone who remembers her is asked to celebrate her life in their own way.  In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate unexpected and unsolicited acts of kindness in her name.
