Stanley Dale Fennell

            Mr. Stanley Dale Fennell, 62, of Swainsboro passed away Friday morning, December 1, 2017 at Augusta University Medical Center following an extended illness.

            Mr. Fennell was born August 14, 1955 in Metter, Ga. to Tarl B. Fennell, Sr and Lannie L. Smith Fennell. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Fennell moved from Metter to Swainsboro in 1962. He worked at Swainsboro Sportswear and Swainsboro Technical College. Mr. Fennell loved gospel music, he would travel to Waycross, Ga. for all night gospel sings. He was a member of Eastwood Church of God.

            Survivors include his brothers, Tarl Fennell, Jr. (Lucy), Emory Fennell (Joyce) both of Swainsboro; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

            Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2017 with Reverend Bruce Flowers officiating.

           Interment will follow in the Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum.

           Pallbearers are Benjie Fennell, Jeffrey Fennell, Junior Diaz, Ben Atkins, James Atkins, and Dayton Fennell.

           The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2017 at Chapman Funeral Home.
