Mrs. Alma Joyce Hamilton, 59, of Bartow passed away Wednesday Morning, July 27, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Hamilton was born May 11, 1957 in Louisville, Ga. to the late James Stuckey and Janie McDaniel Stuckey. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Hamilton worked as a bookkeeper, working at Citizens Bank and then at Hooks Milling Company. She loved reading, going to softball games and spending time with her grandkids. Mrs. Hamilton was of the Methodist Faith.

Survivors include her husband of 14 yrs., Eddie Hamilton of Bartow; daughters, Brandy (David) Murphy of Oak Park, Crissy (Adam) Duncan of Bartow, and Kimberly Hamilton of Midville; brother, Jimmy (Glynn) Stuckey; family friend, Catherine Mattox; grandchildren, Taylor (Daniel) Rogers, Brandon Strange, Sera Strange, Blake Duncan, and Addison Duncan; 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial Services will be held in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 5:00 p.m. Saturday evening, July 30, 2016.

The family will receive friends at Chapman Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until time of service Saturday evening, July 30, 2016.

Should friends desire flowers or memorials will be accepted at Chapman Funeral Home 427 North Main St. Swainsboro, Ga.
