Mr. David Peebles, 67, of Kite passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, at his residence following an extended illness. He was born March 13, 1957, in Swainsboro to the late Johnnie Paul Peebles and Margaret Honeycutt Peebles. David was preceded in death by his parents. He was a truck driver with Crestains for 20 years and Tanner Logging for 30+ years. David loved spending time with grandbabies, family and his fur babies, Prissy and Dottie.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Peebles of Kite; sons, Bo Hall (Evelyn) of Covena, J. J. Hall (Angela) of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Dylan Hall, Abbi Hall, Charissa Hall, Dustin Hall; great-grandson, Christian Hall; brothers, Wayne Peebles (Allison), Donald Peebles (Cindy), Danny Peebles (Cathy), Tommy Peebles, Larry Peebles (Mary), all of Kite; sister, Carolyn Peebles of Kite; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorial Service will be Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverends Lamar Kersey and Jonathan Shepard officiating.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service.
