Julie Ann Lyde

Mrs. Julie Ann Lyde, 80, of Swainsboro passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at Emanuel County Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Lyde was born December 5, 1942, in Macon to the late Joseph Bennett Bond and Beryl Rucker.  She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Page Rowland, and brother, Joseph Bond.  Mrs. Lyde loved her cats, listening to Elvis sing and watching “The Young & the Restless”.

She is survived by her son, Robert Lyde of Midville; son-in-law, Johnny Rowland of Midville; grandchildren, Eric Rowland (Tammy Dalton) of Twin City, Justin Rowland (Skyler Hixon) of Hephzibah, Josh Rowland (Laura Wilkerson) of Midville; 7 great-grandchildren and many friends.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Bithynia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Tommy Henry officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Chapman Funeral Home.
