Michael Keith Brown, Sr.

Mr. Michael Keith Brown, Sr., 62, of Swainsboro passed away Monday, November 27, 2023, at Bethany Home in Millen.

Michael was born August 29, 1961, in Swainsboro to Edcur Brown, Jr. and Pamela Lee Jenkins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Edcur Brown, Jr.; wife, Sheryl Ann Hopkins Brown; son, Tre Brown; grandson, Willie James Gordon, Jr.  Michael was a member of St. Philip Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Pamela Jenkins of Swainsboro; sons, Michael Brown, Jr. (Ashley) of Waynesboro, Gerrie Brown of Swainsboro, Myles Brown of Springhill, FL, Tavares Jones of Murfreesboro, TN; daughters, Sherree Brown of Swainsboro, Talonda Brown of Chesterfield, VA, Treasure Brown of Springfield, FL, Renata Holmes (Leneir) of South Carolina, Celathia Brown of Sylvania; brothers, Tony Brown (Cynthia) of Swainsboro, Daryl Brown of South Carolina, Kenny Brown (Sheila) of New Jersey, Duane Jenkins of Columbus, Ronald Brown (Andrea) of Atlanta; sisters, Sandra Brown Waters (Greg), Cheryl Brown, Kimberly Brown Freeman (Dexter), all of Swainsboro, 15 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023, at St. Philip Baptist Church in Swainsboro with Pastor James E. Love and Reverend Robert Davis officiating.

Interment will follow at Swainsboro City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2023, at Chapman Funeral Home.
