Michael Anthony "Tony" Evans

Mr. Michael Anthony “Tony” Evans, 53, of Wrightsville passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at his residence following a brief illness.

Mr. Evans was born August 29, 1965 to the late Ben Evans, Sr. and Joy Smith Evans in Dublin.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ben Evans, Jr.; sister, Teresa Parsh.

Survivors include his wife, Mae Carter Evans of Wrightsville; daughters, Ashley Carter, Heather Evans, Chelsea Evans, all of Wrightsville; Goddaughter, Angel Roberts of Wrightsville; sister, Sherry Evans of Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 2 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2019 with Rev. Harry Hadden.

Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery in Wrightsville, Georgia

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Mr. Tony Evans to Chapman Funeral Home 427 North Main Street, Swainsboro, GA  30401.
