Mr. Stephen “Steve” Anderson, 61, of Twin City passed away Monday afternoon, February 27, 2017 at his residence following a brief illness.
Mr. Anderson was born May 25, 1955 in Lyons, Ga. to the late Wilmer Eugene Anderson and Pearl Lynnell Collins Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a 1973 graduate of Swainsboro High School, he was in the Army and National Guard, he later went to Ironworkers Apprentice School where he graduated as a Journeyman Ironworker with the Local Union 709 working at Plant Vogle. Mr. Anderson was of the Baptist Faith and had a strong Faith in God.
Survivors include his daughter, Amanda A. Neal of Swainsboro; son, Kyle Matthew Edenfield, and Joseph Ryan Anderson both of Swainsboro; brothers, Johnny Anderson of Metter, Randall (Lisa) Anderson of Seaford, DE., and Eddie Anderson of Savannah; grandchildren Joshua Paul Bush, Kaleb Matthew Edenfield, Kason Ridge Edenfield, and Kolby Chandler Edenfield; niece, Angela Anderson.
Memorial Services will be held in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 8 p.m. Wednesday evening, March 1, 2017 with Rev. Joe Bedgood officiating.
The family will receive friends at Chapman Funeral Home from 7 p.m. until time of service Wednesday evening, March 1, 2017.
