Steven Lee Sheppard, Jr

Mr. Steven Lee Sheppard, Jr., 25, of Statesboro passed away December 5, 2021.

Mr. Sheppard was born September 12, 1996, in Swainsboro to Steven Lee Sheppard, Sr. and Brandi Smith Cacace. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Larry Lee Sheppard, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Jean Wilkerson Sheppard. Mr. Sheppard worked in maintenance and was an avid race fan.

Survivors include his father, Steven Lee Sheppard, Sr. of Statesboro; mother, Brandie Smith Cacace of Valdosta; girlfriend, Sarah Hartley of Statesboro; daughter, Hartlyn Edwards of Statesboro; brother, Evan Gibson of Valdosta; sister, Cayla Carr of Texas; aunt, Pam Akridge (Chris) of Twin City; uncle, Larry Sheppard, Jr. (Barbara) of Dublin; several cousins, other aunts, uncles, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Bert Flanders and Reverend Dale Wilkerson officiating.

Interment will follow in Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Blake Akridge, Adam Lanier, Gage Howell, and Dakota Kersey.
