Adlynn Rose Marie Henry

Adlynn Rose Marie Henry, 16 months old, of Sylvania passed away Monday, February 19, 2024, at Burke County Hospital.

Adlynn was born October 10, 2022, to Matt Henry and Alisha Stevens. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mattie James Henry; grandfather, Ronald Henry; PaPa, Drone Hudson, Sr.

Adlynn loved to sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and dance with her sisters.  She loved her baby dolls, chasing chickens, and dancing the chicken dance.  She liked to eat mac and cheese, grits, eggs and anything sweet, especially Twinkies with her grandma Karen.

Adlynn was greatly loved and spoiled by everyone.  She had the sweetest hugs, kissy smacks, and was her family’s smiling, laughing, ray of sunshine.

No amount of words can express how much she was loved and will be missed, but she is now in the loving arms of Jesus.  But Jesus said: “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for such is the kingdom of heaven.”  Matthew 19:14 KJV.

Survivors include her father, Matt Henry of Swainsboro; mother, Alisha Stevens of Sylvania; sisters, Jaydn Stevens, Gracie Stevens, Raleigh Hendrix, Paislee Hendrix, Hallie Henry; brother, Hayden Henry; maternal grandmother, Mindy Heinemeyer; paternal grandmother, Shirley Hudson; maternal great grandmother, Karen Smith; aunts, Rachel Heinemeyer Lesesne, Sarah Sherrod (David), Amy Screws (Brandy), Beth Martin (Jason); uncle, Thomas Heinemeyer, Jr.; many cousins, other relatives, and friends.
