Amanda Joy Lee

Ms. Amanda Joy Lee “Daddy’s Girl”, 29, of Metter passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Candler County Hospital following an extended illness.

Amanda was born September 7, 1992, in Gastonia, NC to Joseph T. Lee and Marsha O’Dell. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Joseph A. Lee, Iris Eloise Lee, Eula Mae Lee; maternal grandparents, Reverend Glenn W. O’Dell, Lerice J. O’Dell. Amanda graduated from Metter High School, Class of 2011. She was a member of Hilllside Church of God in Cobbtown, where she taught children’s Sunday school and was a strong prayer warrior. Amanda loved music and people, and sung in the church choir. She was the head cashier at Bi-Lo in Metter and head cheese straw assistant at MaMa E’s Bakery.

Survivors include her parents, Joseph T. and Marsha Lee of Metter; brother, Joseph H. Lee, Jr. of Metter; sister, Tiffany L. Lee of Metter; special nieces and loves of her life, Sophia Lee, Olivia Lee; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022, at Hillside Church of God in Cobbtown with Reverend Danny Lee and Reverend Alvin Radford officiating.

Interment will follow at Primitive Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022, at Hillside Church of God.

Pallbearers will be Britt Lee, Rick Miller, Harry O’Dell, John O’Dell, Wyatt O’Dell, Dakota O’Dell, and John O’Dell, Jr.
