Mr. Arlis Huel Womack, Jr.,72, of Twin City passed away Monday morning, March 20, 2017, at Augusta University Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mr. Womack was born December 1, 1944 in Columbia, SC. to the late Arlis Huel Womack, Sr. and Madie Luck Thorne Womack. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Womack was a farmer all his life. He had the ability to make everyone he met laugh. Mr. Womack attended Hebron Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen C. Womack of Twin City; son, Matthew Womack of Twin City; brothers, Harry Paul Womack, and Donald (Louise) Womack both of Twin City; granddaughter, Zoe Womack; special people to him, Gracie Johnson, and Kristin Martin; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 3p.m. Wednesday afternoon, March 22, 2017 with Elder Tommy Rountree and Elder Sam Bowen officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3p.m. Wednesday afternoon, March 22, 2017 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Chris Ellison, Billy Wilson, Clay Clark, Billy Cavanah, Mark Allen, and Ronnie Womack.
