Auther Leon Coleman

Mr. Auther Leon Coleman, 70, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026, at his residence. He was born on December 25, 1955, to the late Clarence Coleman and Lucille Williams Coleman. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank Coleman, Clarence Coleman, Jr., George Coleman, Paul Coleman, John Coleman, Sr., Robert Coleman and Wadis Coleman.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Shirley Coleman of Swainsboro; son, Jeremy Coleman (Latrice) of Atlanta; daughter, Kashema Hodges (Joseph) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Jasmine Timmons (Jamari), Jeremy Coleman, Jr., Joseph Hodges, Jr., Skyye Coleman; sisters, Geraldine Allen, Alice Foots, both of Swainsboro; aunt, Minnie Williams; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at William Grove Church of the Living God.

Interment will follow in Swainsboro City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.
