Barbara P. Green

Ms. Barbara P. Green, 80, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness.

Ms. Green was born April 21, 1938 in Wadley, Ga. to the late Clifford Lamar Price and Helen Lamb Thigpen. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen Clifford Long; brother, Lamar Price; step-father, Andrew Thigpen. Ms. Green had a love of music and was willing to share her singing talent. She loved playing the piano, swimming, and especially loved worshiping her Lord and Savior. Ms. Green was a member of Blundale Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Jeff Brunswick of Swainsboro; daughter, Tracy Ann Jones of Swainsboro; sister, Connie Upton (Stanley) of Wadley; grandchildren, Beau Brunswick, Zach Baldwin, Evie Michael, Jillian Michael, and Zoie Jones; great-grandson, Dakota Baldwin; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018 with Reverends Donnie Daniels, Bennie Brinson and Shannon Boula officiating.

Interment will follow in Lamb’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are William Raines, Jed Raines, Cole Raines, John Raines, Beau Brunswick, and Grey Fowler.
