Barbara Joann Hall

Mrs. Barbara Joann Hall, 57, of Swainsboro passed away Monday, June 5, 2023, at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Hall was born February 10, 1966 in Swainsboro to James Outon and Rachel Hart Outon.  She was preceded in death by her father, James Outon and husband, Frank Hall.  Mrs. Hall loved fishing, cooking, teaching others to cook, gardening and visiting families.  She attended New Beginnings Worship Center.

She is survived by her mother, Rachel Outon of Swainsboro; son, Timothy Outon (Amanda) of Jefferson; daughter, Rachel Solomon of Commerce; brother, James Outon of Ranburne, Alabama; sisters, Sarah Purvis (Kevin) of Swainsboro, Deborah Shields (Kenny) of Amory, MS, Dorothy Stephens (Pete) of Brunswick; grandchildren, Brieland Scott, Maggie Solomon, Hoke Fowler, Georgia Fowler, Matthew Outon, William Outon; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Memorial Service will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2023, at the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Bedgood officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2023, at Chapman Funeral Home.
