Benny Ray Steptoe

Mr. Benny Ray Steptoe, 56, of Millen passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at AU Medical Center in Augusta following an extended illness.

Benny was born November 16, 1966, to Harold Dean Steptoe and Dorothy Nell Williams Steptoe.  He was preceded in death by his parents.   Benny loved drawing and spending time with his family.  He loved family reunions and always enjoyed the table of sweets.  His favorite was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

He is survived by his daughter, Christina Williams (Dewayne) of Glynwood; brother, Harold Steptoe, Timothy Steptoe (Lisa), both of Millen; sister, Sherry Ann Hightower (Mark) of Millen; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

A Memorial Celebration will be held at a later date and time.
