Bernice Fennell

Mrs. Bernice Fennell, 68, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mrs. Fennell was born March 29, 1953 in Swainsboro, GA to the late Randolph Herrington and Bernice Jackson.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tarl Fennell; 5 sisters and 1 brother. Mrs. Fennell enjoyed traveling and loved to fish.  She especially loved her family.

Survivors include her son, Eric Herrington of Swainsboro; brother, Randy Nettles of Swainsboro; sisters, Rae Cowart of Cummings and Ellen Gay of Twin City; 2 grandchildren, Blake Herrington and Evan Herrington; 1 great grandson; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021, in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Ervin Stapleton officiating.

Interment will follow at Lambs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Dustin Akridge, Brent Clifton, Ricky Jackson, and Ranzi Jackson.
