Mr. Berry F. Arnette, 52, of Athens died peacefully with his family at his bedside Saturday afternoon May 11, 2013 at his sister’s residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Arnette was born in Winnsboro, SC but lived in Emanuel County for many years. He was a Swainsboro High School graduate. Mr. Arnette was preceded in death by his parents James Douglas Arnette and Patricia Patrick Arnette. He enjoyed fishing, cookouts, wood work and being outdoors. Mr. Arnette served in the Army National Guard during the invasion of Grenada.
Survivors include his daughter, Sara Beth Arnette of Colorado; brothers, Doug (Veronica) Arnette of Mableton and Richard Arnette of Vidalia; sisters, Beth (Jimmy) Greenway of Twin City and Sara (Eddie) King of Evans; several nieces and nephews.
Private Memorial Service will be held Saturday May 18, 2013.
The family will be at the residence of Beth and Jimmy Greenway, 113 Carl Durden St, Twin City.
