Billy James Beck

Mr. Billy James Beck, 80, of Adrian, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025, at his residence following an extended illness. He was born on November 21, 1944, in Glenwood, to Joseph Beck and Elizabeth Tanner Beck.

Mr. Beck is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Betty Tucker, Barbara Watkins; brothers, Barkwell Beck, Bryson Beck, Ben Beck; daughter-in-law, Shirley Beck.  Billy enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He loved visiting his homeplace in Glenwood.  He enjoyed a good fish fry and operating his bulldozer.  Mr. Beck was a member of Norristown Revival Center.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Beck of Adrian; sons, Ricky Beck (Patricia), Todd Beck, Grover Beck all of Adrian; special daughter, Lexi Beck; brothers, Bobby Beck of Byron, Bernon Beck of Soperton; sisters, Bernice Steptoe, Beatrice Powell, Becky Hilton (Jimmy) all of Soperton; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Norristown Revival Center with Pastor Jack Stafford officiating and assisted by Sister Patty Stafford.

Interment will follow in Odomville Cemetery in Adrian.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025 at Chapman Funeral Home.
