Billy Hermon Braswell

Mr. Billy Hermon Braswell, 86, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at his home.  He was born February 4, 1938, in Norristown to the late Lois Lee Braswell and Fannie Love Braswell.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ann Geiger Braswell; son, Bobby Braswell; sisters, Glenda Moxley, Mary Elizabeth Barwick; brothers, Jimmy Braswell, Johnny Braswell.

Mr. Braswell was a great dad. He was a loving, sweet and kind man. He loved woodworking and wrestling. Mr. Braswell loved his wife and grandchildren. He was a homebody.

He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Mashburn, Tonya Coleman, both of Swainsboro; sons, Kenneth Braswell (Jean) of Adrian, Charles Braswell (Sebrena) of Colbert; brothers, Remer Braswell (Carolyn) of Dothan, AL, Donald Braswell (Lisa) of Irmo, SC; sisters, Carolyn Way (Wayne) of Swainsboro, Sandra Whitfield of Twin City, Gail Rowland of Swainsboro; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Mark Hardin officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M., Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Mr. Braswell’s family members.
