Mr. Billy Russell Crabb, Sr., 79, of Swainsboro died Wednesday morning, January 6, 2016 at his residence following a brief illness.
Mr. Crabb was born October 10, 1936 in Metter to the late John Crabb Sr. and Martha Roberson Crabb. He was preceded in death by his brothers; John Crabb Jr. and Calvin Cooledge, sister; Mary Elizabeth Crabb.
Mr. Crabb was a lifelong resident of Emanuel County. He was a retired truck driver, he loved music, and enjoyed being with family and friends. He had two dogs name Bull and Ug that was very special to him.
Survivors include his niece; Cora Lee (Rufus) Deal of Twin City; special friends, Delene (Joe) Martinez, and Man (Shebbie) Marsh of Swainsboro.
Services will be Monday evening, January 11, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Harrell officiating.
Burial will be private and at a later date.
