Mr. Billy Joe Rewis, 48, of Metter died Tuesday, August 11, 2015 after a brief illness. Mr. Rewis was preceded in death by his parents, James and Edna Rewis, brother, John Rewis, and grandson, C.J. Radford.
Mr. Rewis was a hard worker employed by Southern Billiards in Statesboro, he loved fishing, hunting, and grilling. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Sadie L. Rewis of Metter; sons, Joseph Blake (Nikki) Rewis of Clearwater, Fl., Wesley Rewis and Jessica Kimmons of Hazelhurst, Ga., Franklin D. Ackerman of Statesboro; daughter, Tabatha Lee Rewis of Adrian, Ga.; 9 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private and at a later date.
