Mr. B. J. Williamson, 35, of Aiken SC passed away Tuesday night, April 21, 2015 at his residence following a brief illness.
Mr. Williamson was born June 12, 1979 in Swainsboro to Benny Williams, Sr. and Helen Canady Williamson. Mr. Williamson was a 1997 graduate of Swainsboro High School and a resident of Emanuel County until moving to Aiken three years ago. He loved horses and hunting. Mr. Williamson found his calling helping horses at the Aiken Equine Rescue. He was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Henry and Ruth Canady; paternal grandparents, Dover and Mildred Williamson.
Survivors include his parents, Benny and Helen C. Williamson of Midville; special life partner, James Buck of Aiken; sisters, Becky Ann (Lawson) Brown of Midville and Wendy (Junior) Green of Harlem; nieces; Ashley (Kenton) Landon of Twin City and Breanna Amerson of Augusta; nephews, J. W. (Sarah) Gordy of Louisville, C. J. (Sarah) Amerson of Detroit Michigan, and Chris (Ariel) Amerson of Grovetown; special parents, Jim and Lynn Buck of Warner Robins; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening, April 23, 2015 at Chapman Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Live service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 5 PM at the Equine Rescue of Aiken.
