Mrs. Bobbie W. Brown, 79, of Twin City passed away Thursday morning, January 12, 2017, at Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mrs. Brown was born October 11, 1937 in Garfield, Ga. to the late Euly Williams and Lessie Mae Williams.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, William T. Johnson and Darrell Brown; brother, J.R. Williams. Mrs. Brown was a lifelong resident of Emanuel County, she enjoyed fishing, doing word search and especially spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Brown was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her daughters, Angie Threatte, and Debra (Dave) Henry both of Twin City; sister, Betty Lane of Adrian; grandchildren, Bryan Waters, Gabby Threatte, and Hannah Henry; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Friday afternoon, January 13, 2017 with Reverend Franklin Sasser officiating.

Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Cemetery near Portal.

The family will receive friends from 2pm. to 3pm. Friday afternoon, January 13, 2017 at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Fred Braswell, Dale Canady, Stephen Dekle, and Joe Watson.
