Bobby Copeland

Mr. Bobby Copeland, 67, of Swainsboro passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 15, 2026. He was born on December 22, 1958, in Swainsboro to the late Ismay Copeland and Velma Kight Copeland.

Bobby drove a truck for many years. He was of the Baptist faith. He had a fondness for chocolate ice cream and McDonalds. More than anything he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grands and great-grands.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Paul Copeland, Frank Copeland, Ernest Copeland, Carl Copeland, and Essie Mae Copeland.

He is survived by his children, Jennie McCaskill (Lowell), Bobby Copeland (April), Ava LaVeau, a brother, Carlton Copeland (Ann), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 6:00pm with Rev. Cameron Kennison officiating. The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Richard Copeland, Brad Barwick, Natalie Drew, Joseph Fullmore, Brandyn Phan, and Austin Masters.
