Mr. Bobby Lawrence Miller, 71, of Twin City passed away Monday Night, February 22, 2016 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Miller was born December 29, 1944 in Statesboro, Ga. to the late Hubert Miller Sr. and Corine Graham Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Buddy Miller and Deryl Miller; sister, Roberta Miller. Mr. Miller lived most of his life in Twin City where he worked for EMCO Metal Products for over 30 years before retiring in 2007. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Survivors include his daughters, Donna (Roy) Rachels of Swainsboro, Jody (Scotty) Scarboro of Twin City; brothers, Tony (MaryAnn) Miller of Statesboro, Johnny (Nancy) Miller of Metter, Roger Miller of Statesboro; sister, Belinda DeLoach of Statesboro; grandchildren, Tyler Rachels of Swainsboro, Lamar (Heather) Rachels of Metter, Lacey Miller, Skyler Miller, and Scotty Scarboro, Jr. all of Twin City, Heather (Brian) Frazier, Jessica Scarboro both of Swainsboro, and Krista Scarboro of Norristown; 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon, February 25, 2016 with Reverends Ray Braddy and George Archer officiating.
Interment will follow in the Eastbrook Cemetery near Swainsboro.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Wednesday evening, February 24, 2016 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Billy Daniels, Mike Johnson, Rosco Lewis, Lou Donaldson, Charles Anderson, and William Wilkerson.
Honorary Pallbearers are employees of EMCO Metal Products.
