Brenda Rabun Akridge

Mrs. Brenda Rabun Akridge, 68, of Stillmore passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Akridge was born July 5, 1953 in Thomson to Otis Rabun and Viola Jones Rabun. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn Akridge.  Mrs. Akridge worked at AYP for 30 years.  She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, and working with her flowers.  She loved to shop and going to Wild Adventures with her family.

Survivors include her son, Shane (Ann) Akridge of Stillmore; brother, Otis Rabun, Jr. (Mary Agnes); sister, Cheryn Reynolds of Millen; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Beason, Dylan Akridge, Faith Akridge.

Graveside Service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 6, 2022, in the Swainsboro City Cemetery with Rev David Lamm officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Chris Akridge, Ed Akridge, Travis Akridge, Dexter Akridge, Darren Akridge, and Blake Akridge.

Honorary Pallbearers include Tony Gay and Freddie Smith.
