Brenda Hall Jones

Mrs. Brenda Hall Jones, 70, of Swainsboro, GA passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Emanuel County Medical Center following a brief illness.

Mrs. Jones was born September 17, 1950 in Brunswick to the late John A. Hall and Carolyn Courson Hall.  She is preceded in death by her parents.  Mrs. Jones was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.  She loved her family, pets, cooking, going to the mountains and going on cruises.  Mrs. Jones was known for her pot roast.  Her dream vacation was the Alaskian Cruise.  Mrs. Jones was a member of Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Carl E. Jones of Swainsboro; sons, Greg E. Jones of Swainsboro, Shea L Hall of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Justin B. Jones (Ashley) Brittney N. Finch (Cody); great-grandchildren, Lisa Jones, Wyatt Jones, Colt Jones, Danielle Jones, Kyla Finch, Cason Finch, Cael Finch, Camden Finch; sister, Bonnie Bull (Ray) of Stockbridge; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services will be Friday, October 2, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Dowless officiating.

Interment will follow in Swainsboro City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6 feet rule will be enforced during visitation and service.
