Brunell Johnson Roberts

Mrs. Brunell Johnson Roberts, 73, of Evans passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at AU Medical Center in Augusta following an extended illness.

Mrs. Roberts was born January 18, 1947 in Swainsboro, GA to the late Beecher Johnson and Ronella Screws Johnson.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Allene Hooks; brother, Alton Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Roberts of Evans; daughters, Wanda (Jason) McGraw of Louisville and Debbie Rushing of Statesboro; sons, David (Leslie) Peebles of Eatonton, Danny (Flo) Zwartz of North Augusta, and Michael D. Roberts of Evans; brothers, Doc (Lenora) Johnson and Rex (Shirley) Johnson, both of Swainsboro, and Bobby (Dorothy) Johnson of East Dublin; sisters, Sue Patton of Athens and Linda (Bob) Caughron of Swainsboro; 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services will be 11 am Saturday, December 5, 2020 in the chapel of Chapman Funeral with Reverend Emory Fennell officiating

Interment will follow Bellevue Memorial Gardens & Chapel in Grovetown, GA.

The family will receive friends 10 am to 11 am Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Stephen Rushing, Byron Gelderman, Zach Woodard, Dale Fisher, Todd Hooks, and Stevie Peebles.
